Grow with Nalo Seed: Recap of Our First Full Growth Day
Grow with Nalo Seed: Recap of Our First Full Growth Day
On Thursday, June 25, we hosted our very first Grow with Nalo Seed at Amplify Credit Union in Austin. It was a full day of expert talks and guided implementation, built around one simple idea: you do not just learn something and leave, you actually work on your business while the people who can help are still in the room.

We are still smiling about it. The energy in that room was exactly what we hoped for: founders being honest about what is hard, helping each other through it, and walking out with a real plan instead of another notebook of ideas.
What the Day Looked Like
We kept the format hands on. Each talk paired a lesson with time to actually apply it.
- Building Your Brand with Intention with Kelly Jorg
- 30 Days to Traction: A Practical Plan to Move Your Business Forward with Jermaine Malcolm of Skills Gap Advocate
- Making Better Business Decisions with Clarity with Micky Dawn
- AI Workflows for Entrepreneurs with Paul Jorg
Between sessions we had open work time, table coaching, and reflection with all of the speakers, so nobody left a topic with their questions only half answered.
Thank You to Our Speakers
Huge thanks to Jermaine Malcolm for driving all the way from Waco to share his knowledge and his honest mistakes, so the rest of us could think through our business plans more clearly. And to Micky Dawn for being vulnerable and giving everyone space to look within. Micky has been instrumental in coaching business owners, and we share a number of clients with her. We appreciate her support more than we can say.
Giving Back: Black Home Birth Matters ATX
Every attendee ticket included a raffle entry, with all proceeds going to Black Home Birth Matters ATX, a birth fund for Black student midwives and Black women in the Austin area seeking to birth at home. Thank you to everyone who bought extra tickets and to the local businesses who donated prizes, including Cocoa Coyote, Legacy Ensured Group, Micky Dawn Consulting, and Rise Dental.
Thank You to Our Venue Sponsor, Amplify Credit Union
None of this happens without a great room and a great partner. We are so grateful to Amplify Credit Union, who have supported our business since day one. We met Isaac Sindac, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, last year, and he has been hands on ever since, always taking care of any clients we send his way. Having an open line of communication with our banker gives us real peace of mind. Amplify has no fees, it is a member owned co-op, and it is local. A big perk for members: the event room we used is a free resource. Learn more about Amplify Commercial Banking.
We closed the day with a chocolate pop up from Cocoa Coyote and a happy hour at Topgolf, right across the parking lot.
What's Next
We are working on the talk recordings and a bigger recap to share as a resource for everyone who attended.
Coming up, we are hosting a hands on AI Webinar on Thursday, July 2 on setting up your own AI agent. If you need a refresher, or you know someone who is struggling to get started, send them our way. Paul will host a different session every month. Register here.
However you want to grow, we would love to support you. Reach out anytime about marketing, AI optimization, and consultation for your business.
